
Subhash Challa
Subhash is the Founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of SENSEN.AI, which is dedicated to positively transform people’s lives with AI.
SenSen was listed on the ASX on 18th October 2017 reaching an important milestone in its journey.
Prior to taking up the full time role at SenSen Networks in January 2012, he was a Senior Principal Scientist at NICTA, University of Melbourne. He started his professional career as a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne in 1998, leading a number of defence industry projects.
He was also a Professor of Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Technology Sydney from 2004-2007 where he mentored several doctoral students to completion in the areas of Bayesian Estimation Theory, Object tracking, Sensor Networks, Computer Vision, License Plate Recognition, Facial Recognition and Data Fusion. I co-authored over 150 papers and the reference text, “Fundamentals of Object tracking”, that unifies disparate advances in estimation theory and object tracking into a recursive Bayesian framework that was published by Cambridge University Press, July 2011.
Subhash received his Ph.D. in the field of Aerospace and Electronics Engineering from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia in 1999. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from JNTU, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, India.
